Climate Change & Environmental Ed: Framing Perspectives Workshop

May 5, 2014

Do you often think about how climate issues are impacting both the environment and our society? Do you often wonder how we should approach climate change? How to educate and engage the public about these issues?

NewKnowledge is excited to announce and co-sponsor Climate Change and Environmental Education: Framing Perspectives, a one-day workshop held in New York University’s Silver Building on June 3, 2014 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The event will feature a spirited discussion about how the field of environmental education can best respond to the environmental and social impacts of climate change, with speakers from Cornell University’s Civic Ecology Lab, NewKnowledge, the CLEO Institute, and New England Aquarium. As part of our ongoing work with the Environmental Protection Agency’s EECapacity project, we are honored to be a part of the Framing Perspectives Workshop.
